The Company (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of users’ personal information in connection with the services (hereinafter referred to as "the Services") provided on this website.
Article 1 (Personal Information)
The term “personal information” refers to “personal information” as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, meaning information about a living individual that can identify a specific person by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or other descriptions contained in such information. Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

However, this does not apply where such provision is permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other relevant laws and regulations.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not be regarded as provision to a third party:

When personal information is provided as part of a business succession due to a merger or other reason.

When personal information is used jointly with a specific person, and the company has notified the individual in advance, or made easily accessible to the individual, the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of those jointly using the information, the purpose of such use, and the name or title of the person responsible for managing the said personal information.
 
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
When a user requests disclosure of their personal information, the company shall promptly disclose it to the individual. However, all or part of the information may not be disclosed in the following cases, and if the company decides not to disclose the information, the company shall promptly notify the individual of such decision.
 A handling fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged for disclosure of personal information.

When there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual or a third party.

When disclosure is likely to cause significant hindrance to the proper execution of the company’s business operations.

When disclosure would otherwise violate laws or regulations.
 
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, information other than personal information, such as access logs or characteristic data, shall not, in principle, be subject to disclosure.
Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
If a user believes that any personal information held by the Company about themselves is incorrect, the user may request the correction, addition, or deletion of such personal information (hereinafter referred to as “Correction, etc.”) in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company.
When the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to such a request from a user, the Company shall promptly make the necessary Correction, etc. to the relevant personal information.
If the Company has made a Correction, etc. pursuant to the preceding paragraph, or has decided not to make such Correction, etc., the Company shall promptly notify the user of its decision.
Article 8 (Suspension of Use, etc. of Personal Information)
If the Company is requested by an individual to suspend or delete the use of personal information (hereinafter referred to as “Suspension of Use, etc.”) on the grounds that such information is being handled beyond the scope of the stated purpose of use, or that it was obtained by improper means, the Company shall promptly conduct the necessary investigation.
Based on the results of such investigation, if the Company determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Company shall promptly implement the Suspension of Use, etc. of the relevant personal information.
If the Company has implemented a Suspension of Use, etc. pursuant to the preceding paragraph, or has decided not to implement such Suspension of Use, etc., the Company shall promptly notify the user of its decision.
Notwithstanding the two preceding paragraphs, if it is difficult to implement the Suspension of Use, etc. due to high costs or other reasons, and if alternative measures can be taken to protect the rights and interests of the user, the Company shall take such alternative measures.
Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)
Except as otherwise provided by laws or regulations, or unless otherwise specified in this Policy, the Company may revise the contents of this Privacy Policy without prior notice to users.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
